The sheer strategic stupidity of bailing Russia out of its economic hole by launching a war that entirely foreseeably spikes the oil price - and then having no minesweepers in place to deal with the foreseeable fallout. Rank incompetence.
1. Donald Trump starts a war with Iran, deeply unpopular with the American people, that causes oil prices to spike.
2. Trump allows Russia to sell its oil at those inflated prices, giving Russia far more money for its war with Ukraine.
3. Trump is Russia First.

RoI disbanded its Air Defence Regiment in 2012 & with it the institutional knowledge. Their SAAB Giraffe short range radars were donated to Ukraine via SAAB to be incorporated with Bofors AAA so at least some good came from it. But anti drone capability sought for July will only cover 1 air base!
