Console release is March 26th!
(I did the writing/narrative for the base game, and I think there have also been one or two expansions now!)
I hope that was not patronising! You might well know this. Sorry if I Pip-splained!
Life is so hard, Des. No-one prepared me for this!
Jen is generally relevant to my interests tbh, so much good art! Such a cute dog! AND a lovely person! Highly recommend.
don't forget to add some blue bounce lighting on any relevant props! that's great for making sure they look like part of the scene properly :)
Thank you for listening.
In today's episode of "Problems No-one Else Can Identify With", I spent so long writing about Little Kitty's fictional kaiju, Gecku, that I keep writing that instead of gecko in a thing about a gecko. Autocorrect corrects it, I correct it back to Gecku out of habit, THEN I have to re-correct it.
I'm sending love REGARDLESS. And, because I'm famously bad at the nuances of written comms, I'm going to say that DMs are always open, JUST IN CASE that is useful and relevant here
Please imagine the scathing look I'm giving you right now
A fun cycle we've been locked in for 6-7 years now: AI company implies thing will happen, a load of experts point out thing can't happen as described, media spends six months talking about how thing will happen soon, AI company announces it's not actually trying to make thing happen. Rinse, repeat.
Not sure if any of that rings true to your more informed perspective
Star Wars is a fandom where the company uses โfanโ when it actually means โsuper fan with very few other interestsโ. To my outside eye, the way those fans react is what also makes it hard for anyone who isnโt that level of obsessed to be inside the franchise and bring fresh eyes to any of it

Apophis: JAFFA, KREE! WHY IS THERE A LATTE IN MY SARCOPHAGUS?
The Egyptian gods will know if I go on any Stargate missions because I will be leaving a trail of pens, Post-it reminders, and rapidly cooling beverages across the galaxy, and assuming they will make their way back to me eventually.
Yes, hello, is that God? Yeah, hi. I have a complaint. You gave me this brain thatโs designed for finding berries and avoiding lions and now people are โjust circling backโ to see if we can โmove the needleโ on โkey initiativesโ? NONE of those things are berries.
If you enjoyed Animal Crossing, but wished it had a) Minecrafty terraforming, and b) Pokemon interactions so adorable you might actually cry, just get Pokemon Pokopia.
(It's for Switch 2, and it's a first-party Nintendo game tho, so it's a real splurge) www.nintendo.com/en-gb/Games/...
Another demo I really enjoyed was Swan Song - it's an action queue puzzle game where the queue takes the form of a music box mechanism. I found setting up the movement sequences very satisfying.

I'm loving the Mythmatch demo :)
I've had to ban F2P match-3 games from my phone because it's a time + cash sink for me, so the prospect of a narrative game which isn't infested with predatory microtransactions is, if you'll pardon the pun, a godsend!

LOOK! It's Twinkleby! This is an unashamedly cute diorama builder, which the devs have been updating pretty regularly! (It's Might and Delight, who also made the Shelter games)

Starting a thread for fun or interesting games I want to share! First up is RACCOIN: Coin Pusher Roguelike. I have dozens of hours in the demo alone, and it come out this month! Itโs my most anticipated game right now :)

I guess it's always going to be a rocky relationship, given you've just spent a bazillion dollars to get elected and then you discover that in addition to the job you thought you were going to get, the Egyptian gods are real and they're angry with all of Earth.
I assume it's like:
"Sir, Major Hammond is on the-"
"Nope."
"But sir, it sounded urg-"
"Look, pal. It's always urgent, and it's always batshit. If you value your job, you will tell him I am out."
"...I'll tell him to leave a message, sir."
I hope that one day Stargate SG1 shows one of these conversations Major Hammond is always having with the President.
Congratulations! Also, I want to read the heck out of this!
Wait, you slice it rather than breaking warm chunks off with your hands???? We are very different people.
It is a harrowing thing to realise that "laundry" is an ongoing state of affairs rather than a single task one can complete. You can't even get ahead of it because time is so fucking linear.
Hello I wrote an essay for this :) I have also dipped in and read stuff by so many smart colleagues and I can tell you this is a BARGAIN and a TREASURE TROVE! (paperback is ยฃ14.99)
