Once Sunday afternoon rolls around, I can’t help but kick myself for not having more time and energy to get everything done that I wanted to over the weekend.

Gonna have to remember that you’re living in the future now. I was like, it’s not even 8 AM yet!

I have several I’m still dragging my butt over but it’s more because I haven’t quite come to grips with the amount of time I put in. But I’m almost there. *Laughs*

I think it’s freeing when you’ve set your mind to it and then actually follow through. It’s like a breath of fresh air.

-got no taste, no class, no culture. I used to have severe anxiety over what other people thought of me until I adopted and worked on harvesting that mentality. It takes time and it takes constant work, but eventually you reach the point where others’ opinions won’t affect you the way they once did.

As for protecting friends, I completely get that. Something that might help your friend, and anyone really, is to remember that it’s never about us when we’re blocked. Whether it’s supposedly because we’re bi, lesbian, trans, queer, poly, demi, ace… it’s never about us. It’s about them. They’ve -

Not sure about the Bluesky still showing you following after blocking. I’ve only got a handful of accounts here blocked, along with any Magat idiots I come across. The only thing I’ve noticed is that even blocked, I can still see them when they’re reposted, which sucks in and of itself.

People can and do block for any reason. For whatever reason, they’ve decided they don’t want someone on their feed and that’s perfectly fine. We all have that option and ability.

Don’t take it personally, that’s the most important part of it. It’s on them, not you.

We were able to take my mom’s ashes on the flight in our carry-on, just had to declare it with TSA agents as we checked in and went through security.

Dang. We never even got any rain. For as gloomy and promising as the sky looked yesterday, it cleared up. Still have cooler weather, though. High of only 68 today!
