On a walk around #Conwy yesterday, I spotted something I hadn't noticed before. This magnificent #Gothic railway arch, built in 1840, through the #Medieval walls. It even continues the castellated parapet! Zoom in, and you can see where bits were chipped away as trains got bigger! #photograph #photo

One of my older flower watercolours, sold a long time ago. Poppies, nettles and Macleaya cordata leaves in a glass jug.

Oriental poppies, nettles and Macleaya cordata leaves, watercolour. I wonder if that Macleaya (plume poppy) will come up this year? It often disappears for a while and then pops up again. It's a lovely plant, not particularly invasive.

A chef loses taste and smell in a story set in 2019/2020. (On the Verge.) Chef panics tho she doesn’t know anything about Covid yet and it has nothing to do with Covid. Just a cold! Whyyyy? For what purpose? I might’ve enjoyed seeing the characters deal with covid, but it didn’t get renewed.
