There has been an increasing sense in Minneapolis that we are on our own, that our elected representatives are unwilling and/or unable to take action to get these murderous Nazi thugs out of our community. I really hope that changes today. The time for pleading TV hits ended weeks ago.

Police have arrived. Arrests seem imminent. The crowd chants “let them pray” and “Minnesota nice means prosecute ICE”

There is a picket line the entire length of the departures terminal.

These ICE motherfuckers are just reliving J6 daily, but on a smaller scale. They get to lawlessly terrorize with no fear of retaliation or fight. They don't give a fuck about bonuses or student loan forgiveness.
They're in it for the hard-on they get cosplaying tough guys.

The duality is surreal. Going through the day trying to function and work, all while people are being brutalized and kidnapped one street over. There's no way to describe it.
It's a nightmare that doesn't end.
This, coupled with my own health issues...

I am not exaggerating when I say ICE functions as a terrorist organization in the Twin Cities. The goal seems to be to harass and frighten people (the ones who are lucky enough to not be abducted, at least) and it's deeply unsettling when you learn they're in your neighborhood.

My neighbors are in hiding. Not a city away. Across the street. Literally barricaded in their homes. Good, kind, hardworking people, living in constant terror.

I cannot convey how utterly insane this all feels.
Humans are not designed to sustain this level of high alert.

ICE kidnapped and disappeared a car full of activists, at gunpoint, who were peacefully watching ICE activity in St. Paul, MN, (1/16/26).

I'm sorry. It's hard to navigate these losses, especially the loss of someone we leaned on to carry us through the hard times. It's lonely without them. I'm only grateful that he didn't live to see how far we have descended into this hellscape. I think it would have broke him.
