So yes, even though the main character Nahobino is a male protagonist and we can't forget Aogami or his brother, I feel like the female cast is the most influential than any other megaten game I have played so far.
In most of these cases there are significantly more powerful (Abdiel & Nuwa) or equally as powerful (Tao & Yoko.)
This doesn't even include the Qaditsu which the whole Vengeance story heavily focuses on.
It never feels like the women are just there. They are just as much equals.
Not just him, the entire male cast. Every prominent human male character has a female counterpart that heavily influences their decisions.

Questionable gender roles commentary aside, in SMTVV's case, even though Nahobino is the "head" the leader, it is the female cast that influences his decisions and impacts his outcomes.
Since Metaphor has a calendar too, that date is when this event happens and is extremely spoiler heavy.

TBH, I see some parallel with Dimitri(FE3H) and Tatsuya(P2EP) too. But unlike Dimitri, I feel like Tatsuya is surrounded by people who just won't let him spiral out of control. It takes them a while, but they eventually reach him. I am curious if the same will happen to Dimitri.

I like some questionable characters in megaten but I never liked Adachi. Like Sheffield is just as much of an a-hole but I still like him more than Adachi. I can't explain why.
