[F-cqi6] Psalter (Fragment), Gent, Universiteitsbibliotheek Gent, HS.2582/402. Two strips of parchment, rather dirty, with script, rubrics, and a five-line initial Q, possibly made of gold. It's the beginning of Ps. 51, and this is a Psalter fragment. Is it a psalterium feriatum? That's an excellent question. At the bottom of the screen are the signs of a ruler in the image.
Working with liturgical fragments? We're collaborating with the Digital Analysis of Chant Transmission project to hold a colloquium in Fribourg, July 1-3. CFP here: sites.google.com/view/scraps-...

You may know him as Humphrey duke of Gloucester but in the Bodleian the spelling with -f- is sacrosanct.

St John writing the Apocalypse, fol. 93r
St Paul, historiated initial for Romans, fol. 50v
Jean II's ownership inscription, fol. 98v
#DigiBodAdvent has been a bit erratic but we are finishing strongly with a major new acquisition from 2024, digitized 2025, the 13th-century French bible which belonged to Jean II of France and later to Humfrey duke of Gloucester the great benefactor of Oxford's university library
