My point is that they were already too far gone before AI accelerated their demise. I enjoyed it 5-10 years ago but there's no getting those days back. What they are now isn't worth preserving.
Let them die. I, for one, won't miss a single one of them. They lost their usefulness long before AI crept in. Once "media companies" learned that divisive, sensationalized garbage got more engagement than useful knowledge, the decline started. Good riddance.
