Great scenography though, they do a lot with lighting and projections to repurpose the same stage set as multiple locations

There's a mid-play zombie dance number
For a stage play, the fight coreography is pretty fun. Kudos to the sound team, they added a lot
(Apparently it events are canon to the franchise and it's got Kurisu ReddofΔ«rudo and Rebekka ChenbΔsu)
(It's not like a recorded version of a stage show gets the experience across anyway, so it's more of an academic exersise to get the gist of it)
Kinda embarrassed to admit this, but i'm watching it at 1.25x speed because it's quite ponderous in its line deliveries and while interesting as a curiosity, it's not very good
Assume i'm making a modern game. In a larger scene with say, 2000 distant box buildings, would what was the most effective choice in an n64 game with six buildings visible at any time still be more effective than using interior shaders?
And ever since watching that a few years ago, i've given even the worst formulaic direct to streaming amateur films just a little more leeway before deciding against finushing them
One of the only movies that have gone out of its way to disprove that this is a valid way to watch movies is "one cut of the dead', a masterpiece.
I tend give any horror movie, no matter how bad it seems, at least 15-20 minutes before i decide to drop it. The ones that are truly interesting have usually shown their quality by the 2 minute mark.
Now what i want to know, is: is it cheaper rendering wise to use a secondary, slightly smaller cube with repeating textures for the interiors, or a quad per vindow? My gut tells me smaller cube but in like a ps1 or n64 setting, what are the pros and cons?
Ridiculously low spec question: you're making a city with tall buildings, essentially cubes using repeating textures. However the windows are alpha cutout because you want to give a small illusion of depth. Assume a full 360 degree rotation on the horizontal plane
or just "april grapes", to simplify the context
not sure how what the marketing for Knuckle Jet is gonna be like, but my off the cuff pitch is"you're dragged by a knuckle jet at 150mph, but you're still in control, tweaking your specs to best make sure every one of those orphans gets saved from Big Money exploitation"
could probably use some work.

as any sane entity would
still, without this mindset, we'd top out at making 5/10 games
even so, i'd rather have a kinda shitty version of something good in the game than cutting it, which is part of why we make 7/10 games i guess
art direction also sucks though, because unless it's an optimized implementation clusterfuck, everything you delegate takes 4x longer than just doing it yourself
Mario stole his trademark death animation from another Nintendo character who has since been more or less erased from continuity. The ignominy of it all!

Here's one for the non-believers
always exciting, even though it's not where i feel comfortable
i like this mario
reaching the "shit we gotta wrap this game up in a good way" phase of production, meaning i've gotta semi-leave my bread and butter general art direction role to do more of a "project manager for ok, this is the stuff that's actually important, let's make sure it's in there and well tuned" role
that, and the town theme from link's awakening
it's like the game of thrones version
If Avril Lavigne had been American she would have been named "April Wineyard"
(the cheesy answer would be "because you're not playing anything on wii u", but i am. quite a bit, actually. good hidden gem platform. but i'm AMAZED at the pro controller lifespan)
it's like the nokia dumbphone brick of modern controllers
it was darker then, wasn't it
