Black and white photo of earth's full moon on a black background. Personal note: The moon (much like many of the heavenly bodies in our night sky) signifies a lot of things to a lot of different people/cultures. For me, at this moment looking back at this photo, I think the most prominent meaning I could gather from it is change. An active change in trajectory in my life and it's goals. This small insignificant photo of a distant moon to me is a representation of the shifting nature of my life and how even when we know change always lies on the road ahead, it can still offer surprises as to what they are. But even through the uncertain/unsteady nature of all things, the foundation is still there. You are still you. Earth's shadow doesn't change what the moon is, it just changes our perception. Anyway, I need a longer lens, and maybe an equatorial mount...
