I’ve briefly met Toni, and left with a sense of his kindness, curiosity, and deep experience bringing a consumer orientation to open-source projects.
I’m excited to see what his leadership of Bluesky brings. Congratulations!

Brian McGinnis, a Marine veteran protesting US military action in Iran, was forcibly removed from a Senate subcommittee hearing by police and Montana Sen. Tim Sheehy on Wednesday. McGinnis was treated for injuries and faces charges, according to US Capitol Police.
A photo of the front cover of issue 1670 of Private Eye magazine, with the caption “on shelves now.” The main headline reads “TRUMP ATTACKS IRAN,” with a subheading “HOW OPERATION EPIC FURY UNFOLDED.” The cover features four photo panels set in the situation-room with US political figures seated around a table. Speech bubbles add dialogue: “Is the Supreme Leader dead?” followed by “No, Trump always looks like this!”; “Mission accomplished!” answered with “Yes, I’ve killed the Epstein story”; “What happens next?” with the reply “Popular revolt and regime change,” and a follow-up, “In America?”; and finally, “Why have you started this war?” answered with “So that I can stop it,” alongside “I’ll ring the Nobel Committee.”

If I was @zackpolanski.bsky.social, I would be pointing out to the BBC that whatever model they use to justify giving Farage & his boot-lickers season tickets for every BBC show under the sun must surely now treat Green Party politicians in exactly the same way. Might even be one for the lawyers...

Loving it! Great stories! And great goths!!
So presumably this Daily Mail campaign against "foreign-born" voters will quickly be applied to their foreign-born star columnist, Boris Johnson, and their own France-based for tax purposes non-dom owner?
Always well worth seeing/hearing. Will be planning on Tate visit for Emin's show next.

It's urgent that we clean up our rivers, for all our sakes. Renationalise! Company Investors are given too easy a ride, they should be investors of infrastructure and improvement not money-grabbing dumpers of ...! Take it back under government control. It's what Labour should be doing.
Why are people so afraid of people?!

Loved the horse podcast! Thought you might like to see our own piece of Poland

It is absolute and utter neglect to let this come this close to the wire just as the US has let most of its overseas broadcasting shutter.
Look at the beautiful vintage photos of Veeraswamy, and a glimpse of its menus from 1940s and '50s. I hope it is saved. Maybe I should write to the King and send him a copy of my book, which places the significance of Veeraswamy in a broader context. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
