Email from myself: Hi, I appealed the unfair suspension of my account the same day I received the email, but still have no reply after almost 2 weeks. How long do I have to wait for a human to review my appeal? I have violated none of the terms of service, this is voluntary exclusion and discrimination. Response from Bluesky: Hi there, Recently, we removed a Bluesky account you control (@duckgoesoink.bsky.social) for violations of our guidelines. After a thorough review, we have determined that the takedown action applied to your account was incorrect. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Hello Bluesky, Iβm back!! π
2 weeks ago my little account got taken down for being spammy/fake/inauthentic⦠I appealed but got no answer and was locked out.
Last night I accused them of voluntary discrimination (from a different email address), and this morning I have access again soβ¦ π€·ββοΈ
Love how this is coming along! π
(Also really love your alt text, itβs descriptive enough to imagine the photo without seeing it, but also not overly wordy)
Thank you for that info! Iβll keep her patterns at the back of my mind until I feel like my brain might be able to finally try one π
(I can hardly even count these days π)
Wow gorgeous purple!
I keep coming back to the Etsy page for these knitted animal patterns (there were some adorable Frog and Toad stop motion reels on insta) - but I havenβt taken the plunge to buy one yetβ¦ What level of difficulty would you estimate the ones youβve made?
Definitely going to try it too!
(And then when Iβm done for the evening I can place it tidily on top of the pile of junk I donβt know where to put π)
Love the colour of the wool and the flowery lining inside! π€©
They look fabulous!! π
Great idea!
Iβm chaotic with my yarn - I saw someone organizing their yarns for color work like this, but it didnβt even occur to me that it could be useful for two strands held together π
Oooh that flamingo linen!! π€©
lol typing English on a French keyboard works awesome apparently π
(Yay auto-incorrect spelling and grammar)
(Also yay canβt edit posts)
Looove this set, the colors work so well together, and the finishing are perfect as always! π π€©
How big is the blanket? If you donβt want to cut it up too much, you could try a one-seam bog coat
Hand sewing is awesome! π
I havenβt done any for a while, but my hand sewn things have an extra level of special to me :)
It is so fun! And Iβm feeling very inspired, the hardest part will be deciding what to make first!
And my husband has requested a short sleeved shirt after seeing some photos from the book π€© (he never asks for anything)
Will report back once Iβve read more of it! Iβm liking it a lot so far.
Not sure yet what project to try first, quite a few have caught my eye⦠Hoping to use one of my fun wax fabrics
It definitely is!
Not sure where youβre based, in France itβs available in bookshops on or offline. Outside of France, I guess Amazon or maybe ebook stores?
Haha I really am, Iβve knit a few different garments but always a simple, minimalist style (aka stockinette and ribbing π).
At least these days I can fix most of my mistakes!
Cover of the book βCouture zero chuteβ, with 5 models wearing some of the designs included in the book. (Models are the 2 authors, 1 man, 1 plus-sized white woman, 1 black woman)
This book just arrived and my mind is blown π€― π€©
Itβs a French-language book about #zeroWaste #garmentSewing by @reformonsnous.com, and I love everything about it: the colors, the diverse models, the designs, the cutting layouts, the wordplayβ¦
Will take it slowly and start planning my first piece!
With pleasure!
Thanks! Iβm so relieved it fits the way I hoped it would π
(Did not trust my adjustment calculations)
(Also your examples are the exact ones I wrote in my previous post, before I deleted them to keep my message short hah π)
Yesss thissss!
Ok, Iβll have to look at a YouTube video to get over my fear! And maybe find a simple project to try
Magic loop forever, Iβm too clumsy to even think about trying double pointed needles π
Thank you! Iβm so glad it turned out exactly as Iβd hoped :) Never taking it off haha
She puts a difficulty rating on each of her patterns, from 1 easiest to 5 hardest.
These are her level 1-2 patterns: www.petiteknit.com/en/collectio...
If you can knit socks and hats already, you can definitely manage a sweater πͺ
This pattern was designed for beginners, and is written out in full words with explanations.
I donβt really know many knitwear designers, but Petite Knit has a good range of beginner-friendly patterns - I own multiple!
Oooh Iβll have to look that one up! I donβt know many knitwear designers, so Iβm trying to discover more :)
Iβm sure your jacket is going to be awesome!
This pattern was the first sweater pattern I ever followed too! I still wear my first one intensively, so it often needs mending.
(Before my first Novice Iβd only ever knitted a super chunky sweater without a pattern, made of flat pieces sewn them together)
