For Great Britain, the postal length ranges between 4 and 8.

I checked the issue with our Development. Here is the explanation:
For our Geocoding service we rely on reference data provided by HERE. Unfortunately, for countries like Canada, or Great Britain for street/road addresses the postal codes are limited to 3 chars.
