I can't enjoy personal hobbies or goof off time without feeling guilty so I'll do something to make me suffer while still distracting from my actual problems, in the name of self-improvement.

Trying to improve my math skills in my 40s when 1) I suspect I always had some processing deficiency beyond just "laziness" and 2) this book from the library glosses over some explanations with "it's magic idk" and has typos in the examples or answer key that make me feel insane.
