Thinking about a guy I met via fb marketplace (bought weights from him). He said, by way of making smalltalk, "'Death to America,' the Iranians say? What about, 'Friends with America?' What about that? Maybe we'd go and visit them, if they'd change their attitudes towards us." Some powerful points
Interesting fact: today's date, written numerically, "02/26/2026" is the last date that will be a full palindrome until "05/28/2058" in 32 years! #amazingfacts #wow #ifuckinglovescience

This is funny because if you accept the analysis then the study design had the direct effect of radicalizing a portion of its participants to the right. Iatrogenic Ideology.

I SAW A STICK FALL FROM A TREE by Robert Frost I saw a stick fall from a tree. It was not very near to me. I saw it fall and as it fell, I raised my eyelids watchfully. A twig of spruce or fir or pine Or larch or cedar or a yew Or cypress or a hemlock or I guess of any other few Fell from its branch and floating down, I watched it with a watchful glance. The sprig had fallen through the air and landed on the land perchance. And so my thoughts turned towards myself: A stick, in ways, in others, man. I fell, am falling, yet still stand. Some stick that man is standing am.
In the winter, my thoughts always turn to poetry, and I would like to share my all time favorite poem by the master, Robert Frost, from his collection "Vermont in Ice Bedappled".
