I’ve been paying to maintain my Chinese phone number for years just to be able to do wechat stuff when I visit 🥲 also yea this week happens to be a pretty politically sensitive week in China hence the VPN throttle.

I haven’t been but I heard 毛头老爹饭店 is really good! (Not sure if they speak English there though)

Well these cities are in the same region they might as well be one big city lol. But good choice food-wise — my friend just came back from China and he said Shanghai is one of the few cities that has real good food now.
