I got him at an expo. When I was picking up his container I had to reach past an African bullfrog who tried to bite me through the side of its acrylic enclosure.
The Coastal Giant Salamander (Dicamptodon tenebrosus) is truelly a giant, capable of reaching up to 13 inches long. They live in the Pacific Northwest.
