People in the feed are talking about the move from ex-Twitter to BlueSky in terms of rightwing / leftwing conflict.
Meanwhile, I'm just mad that the search feature over there is broken. Finding useful past discussions is my superpower, but it doesn't work if you're going to break searches. π€·ββοΈ

On the bird website, I kept a running thread of "TIL" items--marking the dates that I learned various new things. I'm re-starting that here.
But if no one knows everything, then everyone has things they are learning later than everyone else.
Admitting that we don't know things is how we learn.
Hopefully, it will keep us honest and humble too.
People are always learning new things.
But sometimes we might feel embarrassed to learn something that "everyone else already knows." Why did we learn it so late?
If we're not careful, we might be tempted to pretend we knew that thing all along.
