Itβs always a relief when I get the next part of the plot while Iβm actually writing. I was typing away while thinking βIβm a bit screwed here,β and the next second one of the characters piped up with the perfect solution. I can genuinely rest easy tonight.

Fair enough. I donβt know much about any kind of therapy and tbh from a quick research it doesnβt seem my experience is any of those listed, but it still felt good to hear a medical professional tell me Iβm not overreacting.
Just had a blood test. Turns out the procedure was absolutely fine. What I didn't know until today is that the bone-melting terror I feel every time won't ever go away because childhood traumas are "locked in". Knowing this is oddly comforting. It's not my fault and I can't "just get over it".

Good LORD. *sighs in author* I have 2 excellent proofreaders who have done marvellous work on my book. I'm no slouch when proofreading for others. However, while reading it again to find a good place to insert a couple of lines, I keep finding things we *all* missed.
Good thing I'm persistent af.

20 days into my new routine of editing as well as writing every day. Itβs definitely becoming a habit.
The stage of editing I refer to as fine tuning seems endless but I know it makes a real difference to my end product. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and Iβm so excited about this book!
