I'm playing on Crit, and I did use a ton of healing items/kupo coins, but still very proud to say that I did it.

Like, if I was playing this properly live, then this story would have me hooked to immediately buy and prepare for Heavensward. It's such a great place to start the next story beat and an engaging position too. I won't do direct spoilers, but what a fantastic way to create excitement #BluePlaysFFXIV

So I have finally finished all of ARR and it's patch quests and god damn, do I think "the parting glass" is the most invested I have been in this story so far.

I am a little sadened that I already know the fate of some Scions, but what a cliffhanger to end on and a great story so far.

And with this, I am finall done with my FFXIV ARR Relic. It has taken better part of 2 years, but that's mostly me not playing a ton during these last two years anyway.
But, the complete relic, all done on Free Trial, all done with on-content gear.

Never again though and fuck the materia step.

This gives me an average shiny rate of 1/381.5, which considering up until Rattata, I was hunting a little incorrectly, I call that pretty good odds that line up well.

Next up is badge 2, 13 more encounters including a full odds trade (1/4096).

We'll see if I ever get there. 😟

10 days later, inspired by Johnstone, I started a shiny professor Oak's Let's Go Pikachu challenge run.
