Sanctuary life has many sadnesses, of crs – not least the grief of knowing that most farmed animals cannot be saved, will live in misery & die in terror 💔

But we are so very grateful for the scenes of tranquility, serenity & hopefulness that fill our days, & our hearts 💖🐑🐔

Exactly a year ago, tiny, disabled #DonutLamb was brought to our gate by a farmer who had no "use" for this precious lass 💔

Her deformed leg could not be saved 😢

But she's gone from strength to strength & just LOOK at her now 🫶👏

How we love our brave, beautiful #DonutSheep 🐑🥰

Both suffered cruelty & indignity in their early days but grew up to be happy, confident lads – healed from trauma by love & gentleness, & shielded from human harshness for the rest of their days 🐷🐗🤗
