I listened to Mark Lewisohn talking about Beatles research yesterday and he was talking about the amount of fake AI Beatles photos that have appeared in the last 12 month that people are sending him. Historians are going to have their work cut out in the future!

I think the top left is a pastiche too. Matisse was mainly doing paper collage by 1953 and the painting it pastiches is from 1912. I’ve just had a look on Pinterest and there’s various versions of it on there too all credited to Matisse. AI is muddying the waters so much!

I think it’s a Matisse parody based on his Red Fish painting. No clue to who is responsible for the parody. It’s like Gustav Klimt on Pinterest. Any painting with gold patterns is credited to him. It drives me insane. AI is making research online almost impossible. I like your Henri’s Cat though!
