Here’s my 2025 catch-up.
Early on last year I decided to enter a selection of local art exhibitions and it feels like haven’t been as productive this year, but I’m beyond thrilled to have had 3 works accepted into events in Banchory and Edinburgh. Here’s looking to another creative year ☺️

Thrilled to announce that two of my works will be part of the Elements exhibition at Milton Art Gallery, Banchory.

Hosted by Aberdeen Artists Society, this exhibition brings together exceptional talent — I’m honoured to be included. 🌿

And I’m so happy with how this beaded dodecahedron turned out — made of 12 co-joined mini Rick Racks!

I wondered if I could recreate the same dodecahedron shape using my 5-point Rick Rack pods — but with beads! After a bit of trial and error figuring out the connection points, I finally pieced it together.

Back in 2019 — which feels like forever ago — I made a couple of modular origami Electra. sculptures. They weren’t my first attempt at origami, but they’re the only two pieces still on display today!
The other day, while watching TV, the light hit them just right… and suddenly, inspiration struck.

Thank you for letting me know and I completely understand your “obsession” with Twin Peaks! I’ve just finished a custom neck band to go with the bracelet and am considering making another one for myself ☺️

My year long IBW colour challenge is all done! And I really like how it’s turned out ☺️ I combined Preciosa PermaLux Matte beads together with sparkly Champagne Miyuki beads and the finished bangle floats beautifully around your wrist!

Now that the Great British Bead Show is over and the workshop was completed successfully, I’m really happy to share with you my Medallion Pendant!

While getting ready for the upcoming GBBS event in Daventry, I thought that it was high time to make a needle case for myself ☺️ I have a lot of Tulip needles tubes and decided to reuse one of them. And of course it had to be in my favourite colour combo of black, white and red! Hope you like ☺️

These sparkly fringe earrings are completely different from what I typically make but were really fun to make! Made with luminous Miyuki seed beads and Czech Mini Daggers. To see them in person, visit @editaberdeen in @bonaccordaberdeen
