Today I asked the Prime Minister if he would agree to meet with the Survivors of Fayed and I am very pleased that he agreed to. As Co-Chair, alongside Dave Robertson MP, of the APPG for the Survivors of Fayed and Harrods, this is a vital step forward.
I used it in teaching intro. to media law - was it their role to tell the truth (his ramblings) or try to convey his ideas in a way readers could grasp?
shortly after his first term began i read a piece by an Australian journalist who'd seen & heard a live speech (almost incomprehensible) and was shocked by the way US media wrote it up to try to report on it meaningfully
they are both very articulate though. I know most of what they say is vacuous but they know how to sound clever. Trump can hardly form a sentence - just awful to hear him. I don't understand how he got anywhere when nothing he says makes any sense
