I used to lament the loss of brightness and cheer, but I'm slowly coming to realize and accept that the Parah I used to be is dead and gone. It is what it is, I guess. I still innately want to help people. I'm stronger, more confident, more capable.
The cost was steep, though.
Made a lot of progress lately. Improved at games. Learning electric guitar. Back in college. Health is kind of on track. Entire perspective and attitude shift. Pretty good stuff.
The trade-off seems to be diminished empathy, a closed heart, and spite filling in the blanks of what I was missing.

A friend of mine has been bugging me now and then to turn it into an actual set of stories. I looked up some word count definitions, and apparently novellas are 10k, while short stories are 5k - 10k... if I actually sit down and expand on the plot points into proper scenes...
My therapist expressed interest in my writing project, so I decided I'd compile information, figuring I'd have an e-mail ready by the end of the night.
Four and a half hours later, I have a 10 page document with 6.3k words that is literally JUST THE MAIN PLOT POINTS.

I've also been training in SFVI, and I'm currently regularly doing well against Gold ranked individuals.
Not bad for an unranked and inexperienced beginner. My goal is to reach Silver and then see how far I can go.
