No word count today, but I have outlined the final chapters of #AllThatMattered now. All that's left is writing Act IV. I can also now estimate 65K-67K as a final word count. That'd likely be the equivalent of ~80-85K if writing original fiction. #amWriting #FanFiction

I also do best when I draft in order. But I definitely don't plan or outline in order. That said, I don't understand the concept of a "word vomit" first draft. For me that's not a first draft; that's notes. So I think there are some terminology mismatches.

There's an awful lot of panic out there about it right now though. Enough that it may take a generation -- not for the technology to be developed, but for it to be accepted. I've been excoriated for using AI for developmental editing (not writing).

That's all work for 2026. More than one item. :)
