It makes far more sense to me to have proper mechanical brakes, with decent brake feel, than to have some horrible compromised hybrid braking system. It seems nonsensical to do this when learning OPD is so easy. There are enough reasons to criticise Tesla's design choices but this isn't one of them.

I find this whole thread completely baffling. Of all the people I know that drive or have driven a Tesla, including my family, I have never once heard anyone complain about one pedal driving. It's completely natural after a relatively short while &far more efficient than complex hybrid brakes I bet.

Completely disagree. One pedal driving is one of the things Tesla got exactly right.
