I think Washington’s off-season had way more bark than bite.
My dad brought me up on oldies, which I (of course) hated at the time but am forever thankful for now.
He also had a decidedly pleasant singing voice, and I can't hear a Beach Boys song without thinking of him singing along. This one hurts
Howie Roseman makes plenty of mistakes. This is a big one.
But he:
1) Almost always finds a way to at least mitigate the damage, if not fix it outright
2) Has the job security to not worry about making mistakes
(I’m really excited to watch the Raiders this year.)
