My week is packed as hell and I haven’t even reached the worst of it so it’s like I’m looking at a tsunami just waiting for it to hit me.

Since I been going to cosplay events recently and meeting people who love shows so much they are dress as them, I have been watching shows that I had in my backlog. So for those interested, both stardust crusaders and Umamusume live up to their reputation as great shows filled with fun characters.

It was really cool how the last couple of pages connected with New history and the all in special for the farkseid reveal, even if the promise of a crisis has me worried because DC is in pretty good place continuity wise right now and a new crisis might unnecessarily shake it and mess it up.

Speaking of Superman, I really enjoyed the ending of the doomsday Time Trapper, especially due to how it’s connected to main Superman book, which made realize how it’s a real pro move to write a definite ending to this version of doomsday while having a second present version ready to use.

The week’s now over so it’s time to talk about the most memorable comics I read during it.

So in case it wasn’t obvious, I really enjoyed this mini and it deepened my appreciation for magik to the point that I’m willing to follow her into the team books and big events that she was involved in. So I’ll get to those soon but before I’ll have to talk about the books I most enjoyed this week.

As a change of pace from what I been reading recently, also because I been planing to read it for some time, I read the original Magik Miniseries.

As I said I wanted to read it since i enjoyed her apperances in some of the more recent marvel games but unfortunatley that hit a road block because

Man, the shorter breaks during school time are really allowing me to catch up on whatever comics, I was interested in. I’d swear I’ve read entire volumes in like a day.

Now that I’m making an effort to get more involved in local events, I’m always having the bad luck of those happening close to each other. I guess at least that reduces my problem of filling like a day is filled if I do one activity.

Despite those kibbles, as a prequel to the rest of the run, this story is still very well made, with wonderful art and writing that give this origin story a very epic and cinematic feel.
