I keep seeing people ask about the 25th Amendment.
Guys. His entire Cabinet is walking around in shoes that don’t fit because they’re scared to take them off.
The 25th is never happening.

Why Do Some People Still Wear Masks In 2026 And On A Completely Unrelated Note Why Is Everyone In The Office Sick Right Now Apart From The Guy In The Mask?
Telling my cat “You’re so smart and so strong and brave” even though I know it’s not true because you gotta just gas ‘em up sometimes.
Apart from the moral repugnance, this is so revealing of how ignorant conservatives are about poverty. Poor people have to think about money ALL THE TIME. They worry constantly about what everything costs, how to substitute one purchase for another, what bill can be put off until payday, etc.
I really wish that the people who voted for Trump because they did not see all this coming would take the next logical step to "what did the people who *did* see it coming do differently?" and switch up their information sources.
Continuing to vote without doing so is citizenship malpractice.
I would've loved Canto Bight in a Rose&Finn miniseries. I thought it messed with the flow of a movie that had some brilliant themes and scenes, but struggled with serious pacing and focus issues.
It's looking increasingly like these guys thought that if they could wreak more death and destruction than the other side then they would be respected as strong powerful men and they would "win" and that would make them big important heroes. Very possibly they had no rationale deeper than that.
‘Hey’ came before ‘hi,’ and ‘hi' came before ‘hello.’
‘Hi’ is most likely a variant of ‘hey.’
‘Hello’ is not related to either.
Goodbye.
Also once again pointing out that Sun Tzu was writing "War For Dummies" cause he was dealing with a bunch of nepo baby nobles playing general and he didn't want them to forget things like "FEED YOUR MEN!"
People who think "Art of War" is some deep treatise of great wisdom are, by definition, idiots.
If I had a nickel for every time Franz Ferdinand was involved in the precursor events of a world war, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird it happened twice
"Fight Club" is one of a number of works that I think it's 100% fine to enjoy and appreciate, but if I hear that it's someone's FAVORITE I quickly start evaluating which nearby windows I might survive leaping out of. "Ender's Game" is also high on that list.
don’t forget to destroy your clocks tonight, walk away from your mortgage, just start driving, you’re free
This is a rare perfect cue to share one of my favorite clips from an underappreciated gem of public television: Julia Child regretfully incinerating a diamond, for science.

It's giving vibes of "Lair of the White Worm", except unironically; and I'm surprised to find myself sincerely here for it.
Breaks my heart how many musicians devote their lives to amazing work only to be dismissed as "one hit wonders". Related: this epic yet intimate bit of emotional wizardry is hovering below 400 likes, 30+ years after aforementioned hit and 7 years after posting.

Day 8: A Song That Feels Ahead Of Its Time
'I'm Afraid Of Americans' - David Bowie
Dismissed as overwrought satire at the time. Sounds on the f**king nose now.

"At the end of the round your are six seconds older"
AGH WHERE IS THE OFF SWITCH ON MY BRAIN
"Now be patient, let them live"
"...will someone roll initiative."
Coffee, straight out of my nose.
Running for Congress on a platform of sneaking into Polymarket HQ and unplugging all their stuff. Overflow crowds at a local Knights of Columbus hall roar with delight as I promise to pour Florida's Natural Grapefruit Juice (with pulp) into the USB-C port of every computer in the damn place.
Ow.
When Bluesky was down today I went back to Twitter and was punched in the face by the stench of abandoned aquarium. Milo Yiannopoulos, who I honestly thought was dead, stanning Hillary Clinton. Dem flaks earnestly retweeting Nick Fuentes. It’s time to cordon off anyone left and introduce alligators.
I like the “we’ve been at war with iran for 40 years” talking point because by implication surviving members of the reagan bush natsec team should be tried for treason
in retrospect most of the country is a vampire squid relentlessly jamming its blood funnel into anything that smells like money
Mom, come pick me up, the best lack all conviction and the worst are full of passionate intensity.
Raytheon Executive: I know you’re skeptical about buying American again. But hear me out. The MIM-104 Patriot is the only surface to air missile system with a proven track record of success against the US Air Force.
Danish Defense Minister: Continue.
It's a very simple metric: any joke *I* personally do not get/appreciate is bad, cliquish, and clear evidence of fascism. Not sure why so many people struggle with this...
Quote from Washington Times editorial board "[Radical liberals] don't realize that, when they express contempt for the man who holds the country's highest office, they reveal their contempt for the Americans who put him there."
Uh no...we definitely realize it.
Ok, but... if they don't know what it is, how do they know you told them the truth? Is it a well-known fact that malicious actors cannot lie when asked to identify their electronics, bound as they are by the dark contracts they have forged with eldritch entities of book-learnin' and stuff?
