For anyone playing Pokemon Pokopia, do not neglect your important quests. Seeing a lot of people struggling with the light quest. Same until I spotted I needed to help in a separate quest.
It had nothing to do with the lights but was needed to free up the Pokemon necessary to complete it.

Cats react differently to different toys, if you can get kind of a very small variety of each and see what he likes, it'll go a long way.
My last cat loved balls. Figaro is more mice and cat wands.
Also if you haven't gotten something for him to tunnel into, that's also generally worth the money.
