As Interim Chair of Ban Conversion Practices Coalition I’m concerned a parenting book promoting “desistance” appears in 58 UK libraries. This is not evidence-based care; it draws from harmful conversion practices. Young people deserve dignity and support, not shame. We need a fully inclusive ban now

They took a decision they were warned would cause trans kids to die. Trans kids died. They covered that up and attacked those trying to expose their cover up.
They deserve to go to prison and nobody will ever be held accountable.

Now a Labour government pursues transphobia and erases trans and non-binary lives. Today’s political transphobia is basically recycled homophobia.
