I just want someone, one person, any of his guests, to go… “this is the world you helped create, Joe. You built this. What did you think would happen?!”

He’s so close to getting it
Jim Cramer suggests on CNBC that Trump could “bomb Tehran into the Stone Age” until Iran reopens the strait, citing U.S. bombings of North Vietnam in the 1970s. Carl Quintanilla points out to him that Hanoi won that war.
as someone who monitors right wing media, its under discussed right now but i can tell you conservatives are absolutely terrified of the way talarico is using religious messaging against them
Four frames. Title: “The rules”. Albo and Penny Wong at a lectern. 1. Albo: “Some of you have asked if rules still apply, so we’d like to clear things up.” Wong: “Obviously we shouldn’t kill!” 2. Albo: “However, if you hurt or kill someone and enough people agree they were bad, then the rules aren’t up to us.” Wong: “It’s a ‘matter for them’” 3. Albo : “Also, if you get someone else to do the killing for you and someone accuses you of it, that’s ‘a conspiracy’” Wong: “Against the rules!” 4. Plus, if thousands of innocent people get killed when you kill the bad person, you must focus on the six people you saved.” Wong: “That’s the rule!”
The rules.
My @smh cartoon.
I finally lost my shit about so-called AIs, LLMs, enshittification & everything fucking evil that @officialgrammarly.bsky.social is doing. I'm fucking furious, and not just about what 1 company has done. An open letter to Grammarly & the rest of the LLM hype machine www.moryan.com/an-open-lett...
👇 excellent thread; terrible decisions.
"Fifteen cops to arrest one girl." An 18yo woman was arrested for wearing a singlet with a banned phrase. Another man was arrested for speaking the phrase outside Queensland parliament. Premier David Crisafulli's criminalisation of speech will now be tested in court. #qldpol
War? How dare you we are not at war we're just helping! www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...
Hey, so uhh @bsky.app @safety.bsky.app @support.bsky.team… do you want to get on this, maybe?
He’s sending the image to people directly like a provocation. I reported the post he sent me too. I hope it helps in some way. Please let me know if there is more I can do
At least two people have been arrested in Queensland for saying "from the river to the sea" today at a protest. I think we all knew this day was coming. A dark milestone in our homegrown authoritarian decline.
Albo's dog getting ready for the big game or some shit
He's just sent us to war, people can't afford normal things, and billionaires are encouraging the racists to go fkn nuts while we get robbed. How is this different to "Scomo's" curry, Bunnings and Sharkies posting? These pricks are popped out of the same mold in the same factory.
If we're doing it right
The NACC works exactly as intended when the Albanese govt set it up.
Everyone in the APH can get on the beers tonight’s knowing they’ll always be safe.

(Apologies for the west wing gif)
The NACC's view here is even funnier when you consider it's about a bloke who secretly appointed himself to multiple roles and thought no-one would find out.
Hey it’s new Nationals leader Matt Canavan. I wrote this for Mad As Hell in 2022. Roof-top Coal #auspol
The govt is making a big deal about giving temporary humanitarian visas to a small number of female Iranian ⚽️ players.
At the same time, the XBENCH is trying to block the govt passing legislation to enable it to suspend the temporary visas to 🇦🇺 already held by 7000+ Iranians outside this country.
The architects of Robodebt are still sitting pretty.
The NACC has made two findings of corruption, but those who should shoulder the blame for one of the biggest scandals in Australian history remain unscathed.
Cold comfort to the thousands of people whose lives were destroyed.
The Royal Commission found that “Robodebt was a crude and cruel mechanism, neither fair nor legal” and “a costly failure of public administration, in both human and economic terms.” The Royal Commission made 56 recommendations, all of which were accepted or accepted in principle by the Government.
The government is still persisting with the claim that there were only 56 recommendations out of the robodebt royal commission, when there were 57 and they just didn't like that last one.

Matthew Yglesias is poking fun at the White House finally realizing its policy is too unpopular to run on? The guy who spent all of 2025 and until circa February of 2026 arguing Democrats shouldn’t even talk about Trump’s immigration/deportation policy? That Matthew Yglesias?
Tony Burke says he’ll be speaking to the AFP after Vic Police let a far-right extremist off without arrest following a violent attack on a Muslim community in Ballarat.
Burke “Don’t pretend you’re patriotic”🔥 #auspol
Jeremy's reaction is a good measure of how this failure will be received among the wider public, not only as it concerns the NACC, but what it suggests about the broader ability of Australian institutions to hold anyone of significant power or influence to account for anything in future.
