When I was a younger faculty, I wonder why my mentor would just give me opportunities to attend international conferences. For me, why would she do this? 20 yrs after, I understood her, since I am now in her shoes. It’s such a joy to open doors for your younger colleagues. This is my professorship🥰

I miss my quiet, solitary walks around UP Diliman’s Acad Oval at dusk. There’s just so many people on campus right now. The campus atmosphere has radically changed.

This was a passion project with Dr Jean Franco: an edited volume of highly reputable Filipino scholars based in the Philippines. May we inspire more rigorous analysis by local voices with deep lived experiences. Thanks to everyone for participating in our Nov 7 book launch 🥰
