I have two PowerPoint presentations I need to be working on and I’ve just spent the past ten minutes intermittently forgetting I’m a person.
It’s going to be quite the day.
This is something that requires so much more nuance than this type of platform is conducive to including, but it’s something that has been rattling around the confines of my skull with the current abundance of looksmaxxing, a term that makes my teeth itch, and so on.
Modern toxic masculinity is a deeply frustrating thing that I learn about because I want to be able to help guide my sons away from it while also doing my part to help equip my daughter to be able to deal with it.
It means I’ve learned of a lot of shit I’d rather avoid, but I can’t choose ignorance

It’s got apocalyptic catastrophes, unknowable Eldritch horrors, and a sense of dread that will make you yearn for the next session.
Dumpsters were thrown. The brief encounter with Sweetums ran its course. Discussion of Demogorgon anatomy happened in a way that will haunt me for years.
What’s not to love?

I’m admittedly a bit baffled that I’ve had to block a couple folks who had followed me recently who also proudly display that they ‘create’ using AI.
I have been very vocal with my disgust in ALL use of AI in its current form as it is unethical and harmful to the environment and communities. Shoo.

Today I learned of the existence of KFC-themed jelly beans and I find myself overwhelmed with the desire to unmake reality.
One of 3’s favorite toys to play with at my grandma’s house is the Anastasia movie tie-in toy train set from Burger King.
It’s the blend of bits of my childhood and seeing the joy he gets from it visiting my grandma that makes it special.
