I went to see Lifesigns last week at Future Yard in Birkenhead! They were brilliant, musically tight and didn’t put a note wrong throughout the whole set! Check this band out if you haven’t heard of them. Melodic prog rock at its best!

I liked The Overview Effect from Jet Black Sea enough to buy it. I thought it would be good to listen to the previous album, Absorption Lines.
And now this album from 2018. The Overview Effect by Jet Black Sea. Very ambient electronic vibe with elements of Tangerine Dream and Pink Floyd.

Steven Wilson tonight. Hand. Cannot. Erase! It must be a mood thing with his solo work. Re-listening after initially dismissing it and I quite like this album!

Sharing is a little different here. I think commenting on the last point allows for others to scroll back and read this rather well written critique of the Rejoin Rants podcast. As a remainer in 2016 and a pragmatist now I despair of large sections of the rejoin camp!
2/ the constant suggestion we could have what we wanted and the solution to any problem would be for the EU & the rest of the world to reorganize themselves to suit Britain’s convenience. After all these years that still hasn’t gone away.
1/ We are back to cake again. Back to the belief that the EU 'should' give us a special deal. And anger that they won't. And yes that all comes back to Brexit, or rather to the failure to be honest about the choices for years after the vote,
