Like any reasonable author, I have now done the most unreasonable thing imaginable - instead of working on a sequel to a my debut novel that was well received, well reviewed, and sells to this day fairly well - I have started writing a completely new one. Fun!

ChatGPT has made me so sensitive about my em dashes that I am slowly but surely developing a pavlov reflex of slamming a backspace button every time I type it
I had no idea. I half-assed the application, and actually hesitated to pay what is a pretty hefty fee to be a part of the promo. In the end I bit the bullet thinking that it might pay off. Yesterday I did a bit of digging around and some research quickly realizing how big of a deal this is! 😀
One of the craziest things that happened to me lately is that I casually applied for the BookBub Featured Deal thingamajing, not really realizing how selective they were.

I just finished Le Guin’s The Dispossessed in two days. A remarkable feat of writing, the book transported me into its world like no other before it. If the book is good there is no chaos in the world that would stop it from sucking you in! After all, literature’s entire purpose is precisely that.
