If you're attending #ACSfall2025 in DC next week, check out our symposium! "Nanoscale Tools to Understand the Physical Biology of the Cell" organized with @divitamathur.bsky.social and Carlos Castro. We're so excited for this incredible lineup of speakers and generous sponsors!
See my good friend Mike @mhudoba.bsky.social (prof at Otterbein Univ) discuss the joy of fundamental science and his DNA origami world record in his recent TEDx talk! Worth your time ๐งฌ
US scholarly output (research publications) is flat, meanwhile China's are growing exponentially. The proposed National Science Foundation budget goes from ~$10B in 2025 to $4B in 2026. Wish US researchers luck out-competing China. We are going to need it.

Join us at ACS Fall in Washington DC for a symposium titled "Nanoscale Tools to Understand the Physical Biology of a Cell". This symposium will feature a variety of biophysics topics and a symposium dinner, organized by @aemarras.bsky.social, Carlos Castro, and me. Abstract deadline is March 31.
