It’s misleading to say Israel is violating the ceasefire.

Israel has never even started adhering to it.

There hasn’t been a single day where Israel has allowed in the amount of food and aid required by not only the deal, but also by basic international law (Geneva Conventions).

Be wary of those who say they support Palestinians but won’t say “Free Palestine.” They may want a ceasefire or food aid, but then what? Are they okay with Gaza remaining an open-air prison? With settlers stealing homes in the West Bank? With Israel remaining an Apartheid state? With Israel murdering innocent Palestinian children with impunity?

With a 20-year siege that makes 97% of Gaza’s water undrinkable and leaves over half the population jobless and impoverished? With Palestinians denied a state and basic self-determination? Calling for a Free Palestine isn’t extremist - it’s a call for freedom, dignity, and international law. If you can’t say “Free Palestine,” ask yourself: what kind of “peace” are you supporting? Supporting Palestinians means more than opposing death. It means opposing domination. Free Palestine 🇵🇸

This was inspired by Thom Yorke’s recent “both sides” post, but it applies to many others, including @SenSanders and @AOC. I respect Bernie for speaking out against the settlers for decades. But when he pins nearly all the blame on Netanyahu, he implies that things were fine before him - or would be fine without him - and that couldn’t be further from the truth. If you’re not fighting for a Free Palestine, then you’re not fighting for enough.

9) All of this comes at the heels of a 3 week mass starvation campaign. Israel has denied all food and aid from entering Gaza.

Ignorance is not an excuse anymore. Israel is engaged in full on genocide, committing virtually every war crime in the book, and the US is funding it.

8) Israel lynched and kidnapped the recent Academy Award winning director of No Other Land Hamdan Ballal simply because he made an honest film about Israelis violently kicking Palestinians out of their homes.

7) Netanyahu was quoted as saying, “destroy homes, bomb with everything you have” after learning ‘only’ 1,500 targets were hit in Gaza.

6) Defense Minister Israel Katz issued a chilling statement saying residents of Gaza will face "force you have not known before". He offered to reward the civilians with ethnic cleansing if they overthrow Hamas.

4) Israel shelled the International Red Cross HQ building in Gaza.

5) Israeli tanks hit several buildings housing UN personnel. They killed a UN worker.

3) Israel directly targeted and killed beloved journalist
Hossam Shabat. At just 24 years old he was killed by a direct strike on his car. Journalist Mohammad Mansour was also killed by an Israeli air strike on his home. His wife and son were also killed.

2) Israel blew up the only cancer hospital in Gaza. They can't even lie and pretend it was a Hamas base, because Israel was using it as a command center for the IDF.

After hundreds of ceasefire violations, Israel has officially terminated the ceasefire agreement. In just the past week since the genocide has resumed:

And yes, it is an incredibly well established and important international law that foreign countries and aid organizations have the right to give food, water, medicine, blankets etc. to civilians in war time

What I mean is, I personally did a fundraiser which raised over $100,000 to feed starving children in Palestine, but Israel is using their military to prevent all entities including other countries like Egypt as well as aid organizations like UNICEF and Doctors Without Borders from delivering aid

And when I say starving, I don’t mean “Israel is not giving them food” - even though that would be a war crime, as occupiers do have legal responsibilities to the occupied set forth in the Geneva Conventions

Israel loves that the US is on fire now, because no one is noticing that they have been starving 1 million children for 2 weeks…
