My first kiddo spent three years going to daycare in Surrey/Langley because it was easier to get him a spot closer to my husband's job then to find a spot literally anywhere in Vancouver. He spent two hours a day sitting in the car.

It should not take decades to break ground on any promised amenities let alone a neighbourhood school.

Do you think this could be built for non-market housing? I work for a local community land trust interested in this type of built form, but I'm not sure if the pro forma would work for a non-market rental or co-op.
