On Tuesday, Team USA manager Mark DeRosa erroneously said his team had already locked up a spot in the WBC quarterfinals before their game against Italy.
The Americans then shockingly lost to the Italians.
And DeRosa must face more scrutiny.

Most people don’t know this but per NBA rules you can
1) shout any number under 20 as you release the ball on a shot (excluding free throws)
2) receive that number in points if you make the basket unless
3) any defender, or the opposing head coach, shouts NUH UH before the ball is through the hoop
That’s good.
However, as a registered Texas voter that voted for his opponent, he should consider spending some time talking directly to the people that might actually vote for him in November…

We just learned that some Republicans in DC are now pushing for even MORE cuts to health care.
Endless money for war.
Endless money for corporate tax cuts.
No money for your health care.

Drone strikes in Haiti.
Drone strikes. In Haiti.
By private contractors.
They’re killing Haitians for private profit & the world barely pays attention.
The story of Haiti is the story America likes to tell about itself. Except there, it’s true. And the west has never stopped punishing Haiti for it
It's happening.
A foreign hacker likely has the Epstein Files.
The best way to prevent blackmail of government officials, such as trump and Howard Lutnick, would be for AG Pam Bondi to stop the cover up and release all the Epstein Files as required by law.
You have to make sacrifices for the very clear and articulated objectives of our War in Iran that is also not a war that we’ve also already won
americans would be terrified if we knew what a "litre" was
Also think it’s cool that he and A’ja are leaning into the whole First Couple of the Court image.
Think it’s kind of bad that the instant reaction from a good bulk of NBA media to someone scoring 83 points is how it shouldn’t really count and how bad tanking is…
Iran’s sports minister told state television Wednesday that, in light of U.S. military attacks on the country, the Iranian national football team “certainly” cannot participate in the 2026 World Cup, which the United States will co-host.

Funny how Greg Abbott gets loud when industry might have to slow production, but not when Texans have a water crisis. He is protecting billionaires. Texas Democrats are fighting for Texans. #AbbottsWaterCrisis
Sen. John Cornyn announced he supports scrapping the filibuster if needed to pass a voting restrictions bill, a marked change from his longtime support of the procedural tool as he courts the endorsement of President Donald Trump.

Roberts Courts legacy is to make it harder for ordinary people to engage in the most basic form of participation (voting), for that participation to matter (letting gerrymandering stand), while removing any constraints from billionaire influence on politics

There needs to be a rule that members of congress need to actually vote to advance impeachment articles to shit talk Trump.
If they can't do that? They should shut the fuck up.
Voted present on impeachment.
Difficult to emphasize just how much a generation of kids has been taught that being dishonest, superficial, and narcissistic is the pathway to attention and therefore success
On Harriet Tubman Day, I’m reminded of her bravery, her strength, and her relentless pursuit of not just her own freedom, but of the emancipation of all enslaved people.
Her courage inspires all of us fighting for justice today to continue that fight until it’s won.
