This is a picture of a red and white shrimp boat that had ran aground on a sandy beach. It was taken at night and the milky way and stars are visible in the sky.

Years ago, the beautiful shrimper, Donna Kay, ran ashore on Cape San Blas in the Florida Panhandle. She caused quite a stir. Especially for the night photographers. We spent a good three hours making images in the middle of the night. #photography #astrophotography #milkyway

The locals call it the blocks, and a lot of others call it the Zig Zag Pier. It is a phenomenal place for sunrise or sunset, but ideally at hightide.

#Japaneseart had a major influence on Western modern art starting with the Impressionists at the end of 19th Century. Still nowadays artists find inspiration in Japan’s art and culture. I sure do.

Long-exposure image of a waterfall cascading over dark rocks, with golden autumn leaves scattered across the wet surfaces, creating a contrast between the flowing water and the vibrant foliage.

I titled this image “Midnight” because the dark rocks reminded me of a night sky, and the scattered leaves felt like stars shining brightly. Sometimes, I let my imagination take over and just go with it.
