Had a great day, escaping my depression wave, only to be flooded back with it by the news. Idk what to do anymore.

I think I can officially be concerned for the future of the gaming industry. I know it won't go away, but a pro-natalist just grabbed the reigns of Xbox. Ngl, I kinda hope Xbox dies hard before it leaves an even larger bigotry scar on the whole industry.

I only just started my job hunt but fuck I'm scared. I hear so much horror about the job market for gen z. I'm starting earlier than my move by a few months, I'm really hoping thats enough. Also considering getting another comptia cert to make sure I can keep up with demands.

I'd recommend giving it a shot, I have pretty sensitive skin and it does wonders for me. I have some pimples show up occasionally but they are manageable.

I want to try to greatly reduce my reliance on the internet. I don't know how far I'll get but it has to be worth trying for my own health and wellbeing. Some services will be inevitably necessary I fear, but I can't go on as I have.

I love what the internet is in concept but its been hijacked by the worst people. I don't feel like any place online is a safe space, even private discord servers. I feel what soul this place had left being harvested to fule the data centers that pollute it (and the real world).

After having so many positive in-person social experiences with my fiancé and having so much fun shopping in person and getting much more into physical media than before, I think a lot of what the internet offers in comparison is highly lacking.

Realizing I may just hate the internet, at least as it is currently. Most websites are designed to keep you hooked by feeding you awful shit constantly. AI is making everything unusable. Your information is constantly being gathered and sold. I don't find this worth it.

Finally crawled out from under my rock to play Psychonauts 2 and my GOD was I missing out. I'm only up to hair world so far but I'm so impressed with Double Fine's artstyle and ability to tell an engaging story through gameplay. It's so creative and inspiring. Absolutely well done.

Been trying to reduce my reliance on my phone this week with some success. I don't always have a YouTube video playing in the background and I'm trying harder to appreciate art. I still use it more than I'd like but since I only started this week I think I'm making great progress.
