Australia is trying to become a surveillance state and just know this where stuff is first trialled before spreading out to other countries

like yeah algorithms can be super dangerous for kids but why not pass a duty of care law to prevent shit like that from reaching them? banning anyone under 16 from engaging with online content is just censorship dressed up as child protection

if i disappear blame the stupid fuckin social media ban for kids in australia that is demanding EVERYONE fork over a govt ID or bank details to all social media platforms for age verification. I won't be doing that so this might be goodbye
