It will be funny in a cosmic sense if Iran, too, backs down from further fighting with Trump thinking it may appease him. It might be that literally no one can sustain a conflict with him.

Iran might accept this, but tough to see them letting it go without some kind of meaningful parting shot. They need to establish some kind of meaningful deterrence or else it’s just a matter of time until he does it again.

I don’t think that he will change his approach on the war. The victory will be over oil prices.
