Was it always the case that you only see replies from people you're following if you also follow who they're replying to? (Following feed)

Looking at the voresky default feed has extra reply posts compared to my main bsky one, and idk why that is 🤔

Panel 1 shows a building sized roo facing off against the larger reptilian kaiju. Panel 2 shows the giant roo after catching the bigger creature and is swallowing them whole despite protests from the monster. In panel 3 the kaiju has been devoured by the roo and has been visibly softened up, causing the roo to burp out smoke while the reptilian features start to appear on the roo's body. Panel 4 shows the roo gaining kaiju like features all over his body after digesting them. Gaining a significant amount of mass including an enlarged tail. All the while a bubble shows the disgruntled face of the kaiju coming from the newly added mass.
