Started jogging about a month ago after a lifetime of HATING running, the key for enjoyment is pacing yourself. You don’t need to go all out every time you run, just take it easy. It is gonna suck, but if you go a little slower it won’t suck as much. Also it’s ok to take walk breaks!

I love LA, but my least favorite part of living here is getting back from cities with great public transit, and seeing the state of ours. The city is very big, which makes an expansive network hard. But I believe an equitable and reliable system could be done if we really tried.
If I was in charge I would literally give one city a year one trillion dollars to overhaul their transit systems. Every city would be walkable. You could go door to door between major metros without getting in a car or on a plane.
Every car nerd should be a transit nerd.
