Abolish the legal gender marker entirely. No government can be trusted to have a database of which people have changed theirs, no government has any business tracking what your gender is "supposed" to be in the first place.

Oh and the other part is my looming divorce for medical reasons! Can't afford healthcare or treatments and can't qualify for any assistance with my legal spouse's income. I hope things get better someday so we can get married again, but I don't have high hopes for legally.

I especially miss my rainbow camp family at Spirit Haven... Not being able to go back there ever again makes me sob, even thinking about it now.

I do have faith we can make new friends, new community. I have to believe that doing what it takes to protect my family can lead us to a happy life.

But when I think of home, it's a place that almost doesn't exist anymore. We were able to get a shorter distance away first, but when we went back it was clear it was all gone. The springs had dried up, hell, the rivers are almost dry...

- and my wife could keep her HRT, and our poly family wouldn't have too many issues, and we could find a pagan community even kind of similar to the one we had to leave behind, but it feels nonexistent, like a fairy tale.

I look forward to meeting new people, seeing new places.

I really look forward to moving to minnesota, we've worked very hard to save for it, and we took years to decide where to go, but a big part of me really grieves having to leave the south.
