LQPV Eagle, Nolan Smith, picked up the win in relief, striking out 8 Hancock Owls, giving up 2 hits and 0 walks. At the plate Nolan had 2 RBI's in a 19-9 win over the Owls #klqp
TMB freshman Gretchen Lanoue picked up the win, giving up 3 hits and striking out 4 in a 16-3 win over Dawson-Boyd #klqp
The last time Dawson-Boyd played in the boys state basketball tournament was in 1991. A junior on that team, Cory Larson, is now head coach of the Blackjacks in their return to the big show.
