The best feeling ever is finishing a story previously abandoned. I'm working on one right now, and, as usual I'm like 'why did I stop writing this in the first place this is awesome?'

My typing is atrocious. I can touch type (because I'm GenX and learned it in school) but half the time I don't even know where my fingers *are* due to decreased sensation, and even when I *do* know, my dexterity is turning to shit.

I haven't been using them I guess from a fear of being perceived while I get used to the platform. I don't yet know the tolerance level for those of us who are purveyors of taboo smut--and I haven't found other taboo smut readers/writers to emulate in that regard. 😭

Shit. Inkitt just emailed me about a 15k in 14 days challenge they're running. I won't say I'm not intrigued and strongly tempted but like it starts in 2 days! What kind of notice is that? Haven't written on inkitt in ages, and on a whole other penname. I WANT to do it, but holy shit.
Another 2k words today on the new thing and I'm still having fun, yay! If I can keep up the momentum it should be finished by the end of the weekend (unless it gets away from me and ends up longer than usual 🤔).
Today's wordcount ~2000 words. Double my daily target on a new story that is really intriguing me. The premise is new and different and I'm really excited about it!
I'm gonna make the effort to actually use this app. I spend too much time doomscrolling on threads and never posting idk if this will be any different 🤷
Finally made the leap and created a newsletter. Picked substack because idk, I'm more comfortable feeling like I'm blogging than writing emails to 0 subscribers 🤣
